This is the station from which I boarded my first train trip back in the mid-1960s. Suffolk, Virginia’s 1885 Seaboard Passenger Station went to hell in the 1990s, but was rescued by history fans in the late 1990s. I recently got to take a picture of the exterior. Hope to get back to see the interior of the museum there which reportedly has a model railroad of the town about 1900.
