I guess I’ve been going to the North Carolina State Fair for about 50 years now. It’s been school trips and curiosity destination, family activity, and birthday tradition (my birthday always falls during the Fair). In the last few years, it’s mostly a family trip and photo field trip. Kitty and Beth and I went Thursday, the day that the fair collects food for food banks around the state -- five cans of chow gets you free admission.
