There is something about wooden fishing boats which whispers in my ear. They beg me to take their picture and gaze at the flat or cracked or stained paint on ancient wood.
Many of these scans of older pictures of mine are from slides, one of the few portions of my work in which my record keeping is poor. Therefor, many of the references are from memory and perhaps faulty.
I believe this boat is in Toms Creek in Belhaven. That’s a great blue heron there on the bank doing a little fishing of his own.
