Kitty taught in Four Oaks for some years, and both our girls went to school there. As a result, I got to spend a little time kicking around that pleasant little country town. A north/south track passes right through the middle of town, such as it is.

This freight is coming into town from the south, headed toward Smithfield and Selma. This signal tower may be gone now, but have not check recently. This picture was taken in 2002.
