On our way home from Baltimore in May, Kitty and I came home by way of Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Along the way, we visited Tangier Island. The night before we stayed in Crisfield, Maryland (Delmarva Peninsula they call it), the home port for several ferries to the island.
Crisfield has its own appeal as a fishing village. This is installment three, one more is coming later. The photo above is one of the blue crab shedders in the area. They are working to catch the crab as they shed an old shell for the new ones. It makes them delicacy easy to eat.
