It wasn’t much of a rain, but it was a nice break in a hot day. It felt nice and sounded better.

We took the dogs out for a bit afterward and spotted these yard visitors. A snail on the cana lily (left) and a young male box turtle under the beauty berry (below).

It really is the little things that cap a day.
