Washington’s Music in the Streets is one of our favorite occasions. Third Fridays, they close off Main Street and invite in a few bands to play through dusk. It’s a great time to hear local musicians and visit with friends, some seldom seen. It’s a homecoming of sorts and happens in all the warm months. None of the out-or-town crap merchants, just home folk.
