My mother has family in the Sarem, Reynoldson, Gates, Roduco area of Gates County, NC. From my earliest years, I remember the train station in Roduco because it was on our cross-county route to visit cousins. When Mom and I rode around the county last week, I was surprised to find the rail station in Roduco still standing. Mom remembers boarding a train there as a girl to ride home to Norfolk after a visit.
