Some years back, the Weyerhaeuser plant in Plymouth had a street that went through the plant site and along the Roanoke River. The rail yard there was very visible along the passage. The road was eventually closed after the plant began drawing attention from Greenpeace and eventually environmental regulators for the paper mill’s poisoning of the river.
